Vision:
A society that is aware of and
accepts the mentally challenged population as a component of a normal social
structure and where societies are structured to provide to their special
needs so that they are able to enjoy a physically healthy, rightfully
respected, socially active and economically productive life.
Mission:
To provide a platform of
opportunities of exploring and learning that is conducive and responsive to
healthy development and social interaction needs of the mentally challenged.
Strategic direction:
CMCC designs opportunities specific
to individual needs for attaining specific development goals. A need based
curriculum has been designed to fit CMCC's ideology with adaptations from
the Government's prescribed curriculum with the aim to:

Provide opportunities of learning
and play through recreation and social activities.

Provide opportunities for audio,
visual and tactile expression through art, music and play.

To encourage self care and develop
family awareness towards healthy, rightfully respectful, socially active
and economically productive life style.

To integrate health plans of
individual children inclusive of regular medical checkups, prescription
follow-ups, physiotherapy, speech therapy etc.
